Noemi Ghelardini obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Florence (2019–2022), where she worked on the development of molecularly imprinted polymers for the detection of TNF-alpha, using Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) as the analytical technique. She then earned her Master’s Degree in Inorganic Nanochemistry from the University of Pavia (2023–2025), focusing on the synthesis of silver nanoparticles and palladium nanocubes. As part of her training, she completed an Erasmus traineeship in the “In Situ Nanochemistry” group led by Dr. Scarabelli at the University of Cantabria, where she gained hands-on experience in soft lithography, self-assembly, nanoimprint lithography, and hot embossing techniques. In November 2025, Noemi began her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Cyrille Hamon and Dr. Marianne Impéror-Clerc in the MATRIX group at the Laboratoire de Physique des Solides (LPS), focusing on the synthesis and self-assembly of noble metal nanorods, with the aim of exploring and controlling polymorphism in multicomponent systems.
